9 year old...puberty?

My daughter turned 9 years old in November. In the last week she's mentioned her breasts feel sore/tender. Her right worst than the left. Is this puberty already? I just did some reading online and it says at age 8-12 years of age her breast buds are developing. And about 2-3 from the breast buds developing, she may get her period. She seems so young still. 😭

It certainly can be the start of puberty. This is unfortunate side effect of modern life - girls enter puberty earlier and earlier. There are many theories about why - BPA from plastic products, hormones that cannot be taken out of drinking water, diets high in fat or sugar, higher temperatures, and so on and so on. Nobody really knows why exactly, or how to reverse this trend,, but the onset of puberty comes earlier and earlier.

Yes my breast started hurting at 8 and omg I remember being so itchy and my mom didn’t tell me not to scratch and now I have stretch marks 😩 tell her don’t scratch 😊 
I got my period at 11 also.

I remember going through that at 9 and I got my first period at age 11- this is perfectly normal. Since I’m 16 and I can say us younger generations are going through puberty earlier than other ones. It’s ok and normal !!
