Low blood sugar after birth

My girl was born with low blood sugar. They said it can be normal in babies who are too small or too big. She has to be on an iv drip now and has been since yesterday evening. We’ve been giving her formula and testing her every three hours. The test about six hours ago was good and we’ve been weaning her off by cutting it down 15% each time. Her most recent test the blood sugar was too low so we had to raise it back up instead. I could’ve gone home yesterday if it wasn’t for her needing the iv drip. I really don’t want to go home without her tomorrow :( and I hope it improves. Obviously I want the best for her. I have never had any issues with blood sugar or GD. Can any momma who’s been through this tell me what happened with you and your babe? I am/will obviously talk to doctor about this just want to hear your stories...
