Fibroid and IUI

Has anyone else had a rather large fibroid and been successful TTC? We’ve been trying for about a year and a half and are starting our first IUI cycle. My fibroid is large and I had surgery for it to be removed but the surgeon couldn’t remove it once he opened me up (UGH!!). If they had tried to go through with removing the fibroid, then there was a chance of a hysterectomy. I really hope IUI works. I had my baseline ultrasound today and the doctor commented about mostly seeing fibroid. I’m trying to stay positive and would love to hear from anyone else’s experiences with TTC with a large fibroid. 🙏
