For those with dogs.... bringing home a new baby.

What should we do... we have 2 basset hounds a male and female. Both are sweet as can be but do get kind of crazy and excited when they first see us and even crazier when new people (anyone that isn't us) comes in the house. They have never met a small baby before. Toddlers yes but no babies.

Here are my questions:

1. Should we let them stay with my parents (right down the road) for the first couple days we are home?

2. Do we introduce them 1 at a time?

3. What's the best way of actually introducing them?

4. Did it go well for you?

5. Any tips?
