My Boyfriend is Difficult to Talk to

My boyfriend is difficult to talk to. When I have to confront him about something, he shuts down and does not want to talk about it. Sometimes he actively ignores me while I am talking. He does not try to make any effort to do compromises with me, and if I tell him he hurt my feelings for being a jerk he turns it around and makes it about him. Nothing ever gets resolved because he refuses to compromise. The same things just happen over and over and I’m sick and tired of it.

I am generally a very patient person. I put up with more BS than I should...and at times I catch myself repeating things over and over again. I only repeat things because he doesn’t listen. When I start repeating things, it drives myself to sound as though I am nagging. I just wish he’d acknowledge my feelings and listen.
