Using a surrogate mother

Hi we are using my friend as a surrogate mother this is our first time going about home insemination we need some advice how to get successful pregnancy it says do 2-4 days before ovulation if you want a girl so we are trying for a girl how do we go about this? What do we need? An other advice you have please let us know I can't have no kids had a full hysterectomy at 26 we would appreciate any advice ... Yes there is lawyer and contract involved we are using my boyfriends sperm please help us thank you
