Traveling with a 2 month old?

So I live in a state with my husband, his family, and my mom happens to live in this state also. My dad and grandparents live 2 states over though and would love to see my baby girl when she is born, but due to age and getting surgery my grandparents cant come down here to see her. My husband gets 2 months paternity leave and that uses up all his vacation time, so we were planning on taking her up there on month #2. Doc says its safe but I kind of want other opinions on this.
