11 month old tantrums

I’m seriously amazed at the tantrums my 11 month daughter throws already. I have a 2.5 year old son who threw tantrums around this age also, but his were nowhere near the ones she has. I’m wondering if anyone else has dealt with tantrums like this at such a little age and if they have any words of advice...

She will get frustrated at literally every little thing. Her instant reaction is to scream at the top of her lungs (literally have never heard a scream as loud and high pitched as hers). Then she will throw her head back. But she won’t just do this once and stop when you distract her. Distracting her is nearly impossible. Calming her down is really hard. The only way I’ve gotten her attention yet is to yell also. That catches her attention but then she starts crying because it upsets her. The cry is much less than the original tantrum but I don’t like that it scares her. I just can’t get her to stop in any other way. She will consistently throw herself backward and scream over and over again. She does it very very often and the worst time she does it is in the tub. Again, there’s nothing really in particular that will set her off, basically anything at any given moment will do it. Yesterday, she stuck her toy duck inside of a cup while she was in the bath. She couldn’t get the duck out, so she started flinging herself backward and screaming. I always start out by calmly talking to her and telling her to breathe and calm down but she doesn’t pay attention at all. I’ve tried teaching her to say help when she needs help and she has done it before but she usually goes straight to screaming and flinging herself. She knows how to take breaths when I say breathe, but unlike with my son, it doesn’t work for her in the moment.
