Can someone explain ovulation strips?

Can someone explain ovulation strips to me? I had a positive (test line as dark as control line) late last week. I have now had 2 more positives since then. 1 yesterday was the darkest (test line darker than control) and today’s is a tad lighter (still test line darker than control). So when am I ovulating? Did I already ovulate? These things confuse me so much! Thank you.

Edit: no hormonal issues like pcos! I had a baby about 6 months ago but have regular periods again since 7 weeks post partum. Idk if that makes any difference.
