Pregnant after implant removal?
Ok so from my own experiences with hormone contraception, even the implant in the past I know it takes my body a few months to adjust before I start having periods again.
But I was wondering what your experiences are? Did your body adjust straight away or are you like me and it takes a while? Did it take you long to fall pregnant? Would just love to hear everyone's experience!
I was on the implant years ago and think it took a month or two to get my periods back, then I went on the injection, one had one shot that covered me for 3 months but I didn't have a period for 9 months after those 3 months too so a total of a year! I had a weird first period, very short, I then had a normal period a month later and got pregnant with my first that cycle! I've been avoiding hormone contraception since as hate the waiting for my body to go back to normal, but even the copper coil made my cycles longer so I struggled to conceive my 2nd! I only had the implant again as was sure I was done atleast for 4 years after my 4th so figured 3 years then however long for my body to adjust and then maybe will be ready to try again but the baby fever got me again 😂
I'll be honest I've been tempted to take ovulation tests to see if I ovulate before my first period arrives 😂
