My trip to Costa Rica for school just got cancelled this morning and we were scheduled to leave tomorrow!

Within the US yes absolutely. But now there’s a 30day travel ban that’s now been put in effect starting on Friday for everywhere except the UK! My husbands deployment has also been postponed due to the scare.

If I had a trip already booked then I would probably still go.  I wouldn’t purposely go out of my way and book something now though.  Just be extra careful.  Also depends where your going I guess.

By my own car, I wouldn't travel to areas where coronavirus is highly prevalent, unless I needed to for whatever reason. By airplane, I probably wouldn't travel at all regardless of location given the increased likelihood of someone travelling from a country where people have tested positive. Maybe I sound paranoid, but I am not taking my chances. If I can avoid travelling for a while, I would.
