How does a hair Stylist receive their tip?

This is a weird question but when you tip someone from your debit card how do they receive the tip? Do they get it on their paycheck?

Depends on the place. The girl I go to, you pay your entire bill to HER account and she pays her salon fees once a month on her own so she gets all the money up front and pays her fees later

Not at a salon but when I worked at a pizza joint, we took tips out of the drawer.

Depends on the salon. Any card tips I receive I get at the end of my two week pay period & are taxed 20-30%. Most of my clients tip in cash to avoid that fee on my part but it’s not always possible.
