Putting oneself in a risky situation.

Call it victim blaming or whatever you want but I'm just wondering why some women put themselves in risky situations? Why intentionally drink to the point of blacking out, or drink excessively with people you don't know? Nobody deserves to get taken advantage of. I just wonder what goes through people's minds sometimes. Let the bashing begin. I'm just trying to understand.
