Non trans wearing a binder?

Hello! I am non binary and I wonder if it's okay to wear a binder on days I feel more masculine? I have this feeling binders are exclusive to only trans folks, so I feel *bad* wanting to use one because I don't want to feel my chest sometimes although I am not trans? :((

Yes of course you can. If you have dysphoria and need to wear a binder then wear a binder. I know plenty of nonbinary folk who wear binders and plenty of trans people who are 100% ok with it.

Hey there! I'm nonbinary too. :) If you're nonbinary then congrats, you're trans!! Being trans means being a gender that does not align with your sex assigned at birth. If you were born female and you're anything other than a girl, you're trans! And vice versa. :) I cant right now since I'm pregnant but I usually wear a binder every time I leave the house or have friends over. I get mine from GC2B, they're the best and you can even swim in their binders. If you have a super large chest I recommend a full binder.

nonbinary is trans actually, its the white stripe on the trans flag so even if binders were “only for trans people” you being nonbinary means you absolutely could wear a binder though really, most trans people dont care who wears a binder as long as everyone stays safe.  on a more personal note, im nonbinary as well and i wear a binder so why cant you if thats what you wanna do?

of course you can use a binder! anything that you personally like or want to use to help affirm your gender/ease the dysphoria is a good thing. good luck!

I’ve seen many trans people enforce that binders are for anybody. I’m not trans myself, but it seems to be the general consensus (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).
