Tips for quitting smoking?

What worked for y'all? I'm 2 days smoke-free and currently all that's worked is telling myself I am not a smoker and eating whenever I'm craving a Ciggerate. I usually stick to 1800 calories a day but the last two days 3000 calories. I've told myself I can do this for a week, overeating. A week of overeating is better than not quitting. I woke up and ate a cheeseburger for breakfast lol I hate this, but it's the only way that is working. Please and thank you
