We’ve been trying to conceive for 1 year and 4 months now. Had a miscarriage back in August which just about broke me. We found out on 3/13 we were expecting again. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was prescribed Metformin and Clomid in January. First round did nothing, so they doubled my dosage and it worked the second round. My last cycle was Feb 15th, ovulated around Feb 28th/29th, and not sure when it actually implanted. I cramped like PMS and was sure my AF was coming. I took a test on 3/13 and got the FAINTEST line. I mean barely there, went to the hospital to get my first round of bloodwork which came back as my HCG of 12, and my progesterone of 21.4.. she had me go back on 3/16 for more bloodwork to test my HCG and it was 37, so more than doubled. She said I was SUPER EARLY, like week 1 since they know when I ovulated due to Clomid. Of course me being paranoid, I’ve been testing pretty much everyday. My doctor said since it doubled and my progesterone looked good, I didn’t need any extra bloodwork and she’ll see me on April 28th for my ultrasound. I still cramp every now and then especially when I move positions. I have an ache in my left outer hip. Feels more like soreness and my lower back. My breast are still sore and still have nausea. Just worried that according to my test, my HCG may not be progressing? Keep in mind though, I got up at 5:30 to pee and didn’t test because I thought I was done testing. Went back to sleep and about 7:30 had a pretty rough cramp so I got up to test after that. The blank test are today. The first one is 7:30 this morning and the second is about 1:30. Anyone do this and still have healthy pregnancy? I know people say test don’t determine anything besides if you’re pregnant or not but does it not make sense that the higher the HCG, the darker the test??
