Frequent fights

My boyfriend and I have been fighting a lot more recently, and over dumb stuff, too. Usually politics are the source, and it doesn’t help that his family is strongly conservative and I tend to have liberal views.

He blames my birth control for my moodiness, but he isn’t perfect, either. While I’m usually impulsive and aggressive, he can be immature and petty.

I can’t help but wonder if this is a sign to end things. On more than one occasion, a kid from our schools mother has texted MY mother about the things he’s been talking about at school “behind my back,” as she says. Suffice it to say, he’s been bragging about an ex he had sex with. I’ve never heard about this from him.

I know it sounds like typical teen drama, but I really miss the spark we had. These frequent fights have been showing our real colors, and I’m not sure I like him as much as I did in the beginning. Perhaps that the way it is with every relationship...
