post iud periods help!!!!

This week has been pretty off when it comes to my period. On Tuesday morning, I thought my period started because bright red drops had come out but then when I went to wipe it did not seem like that much so I put a regular tampon in and went about my day. Later that day I took the tampon out and it barely had anything on it other than old blood so I just went to bed normally and assumed my period would start on Wednesday. Wednesday rolled around and the same thing happened in the morning so I did the same thing and put a tampon in and then took it out 2 hours later and it was old blood again. The rest of the day I was spotting. This morning I began spotting dark red blood but not enough to put anything in. At this point it has been 3 months exactly since getting the IUD out, do you think that could be contributing to this? Along with this I spotted for 2 days last week and had the same right ovarian pain ever since. I have no crazy symptoms to make me think I would be pregnant. I had breast pain but it ended as soon as I started this “period”, along with some acne but nothing else. Usually I have heavy periods so this isn’t normal for me but my periods have progressively been getting lighterish?
