Child Support

I’m just going to start off by saying I hope I’m explaining this well so it makes sense. I’m usually not good at trying to get points across 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I saw this video of this women talking about her views on child support. She starts off the video saying if a man is responsible enough to pay child support he’s responsible enough to see the children equally. Alright I have no problem with that. So I’m still watching. She then goes on to say “if he’s safe enough to pay child support he’s safe enough to see the children.. ALONE” which I kind of stopped and was like that’s not always the case but okay... In the middle of her video she says “I know every circumstance is different” but right after starts saying how if women who feel their child’s father isn’t safe they should NOT get child support because they’d look “stupid”. She even says “don’t be taking his money and keeping his kids” well.. there are circumstances where a man is indeed NOT safe but is required by LAW to pay for his child. Just because he’s a pos doesn’t mean he should be able to cop out of helping out. She even says if you take a dangerous man to court he’ll want to see the kids (which I don’t disagree) however, if he was TRULY dangerous absolutely no court would give him that right. So you’re telling me someone who is now a single mom because they left an abusive/ toxic relationship should have to suffer because you think it’s “stupid” to want help with child expenses?? Doesn’t make sense to me.
