Cramping with iud

So I’ve had the Paragaurd iud for almost 2 years now. I’ve experienced the heavy bleeding and the severe cramping which is normal. I usually get the cramps exactly 1 week from when my period starts and then the day before. This time, I’m experiencing severe cramping 2 weeks before my period. It’s never really been that early before. I also had unprotected sex with my ex a week ago. Could this be implantation cramping or just the normal copper iud cramping I normally get?
