Foley Bulb - Things I Should Know??

Question

I'm getting a Foley Bulb inserted in 2 days. I'll be 40 weeks. Currently, I am not dilated at all. This is my first baby.
Should I have a regular meal before it's inserted? Or just something light?
Can I walk around/move around? (My doctor said I'd be able to go home after he inserts it and I can wait until real labor begins). Can I use my birthing ball? Will I want to use it? 
Anything else I should know? I'm having this done no matter what so please don't post comments that will "scare" me out of doing this.

I didnt get to go home with mine but that might be because I was induced early for pre-eclampsia. Yes I was able to move around. It is awkward cuz it's like you have a tail hanging out of you lol but yes you can use your birthing ball. I even got in the whirlpool tub with mine because I was having alot of pain with mine (but honestly when labor started i realized the pain from the balloon wasnt that bad lol) but it was pain that I could get thru. For me rocking back and forth helped with the pain so i just went with it. They did give me half a dose of something to help calm me down (not a pain med) but i dont remember what it was but it helped and i slept the whole night. I'm not gonna lie, its gonna be uncomfortable but what part of labor isnt. As far as eating, I'd ask your doctor about that one just in case. You'll do great mama, goodluck

i was induced and they insert it and then fill it, but mine burst 😂😂🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ so i can’t say it helped me much lol but it it does burst they have to check to see if it’s your water breaking anyways. good luck! it wasn’t painful though.
