Estrogen cream

Has anyone ever used Estradiol vaginal cream 0.01% before? My dr prescribed it because I’m still breastfeeding and having some pain during sex. I had a c-section so I know it’s not due to delivery or anything. I’m just nervous because the leaflet that came with it has numerous warnings that it can cause cancer even though it says that’s one of the rare side effects

I had Intense perineum pain during sex
