7 week scan, slight complication?!

Hi there, I have just had my 7 week scan, baby seems fine and seen heartbeat. However they are slightly concerned that baby has implanted itself in top corner right next to Fallopian tube, after lots of examinations and a second opinion they say it appears that although baby is in the corner, they THINK it does have endometrial layer all around it so it should be fine but if I get any pain to go back in as it can be very dangerous! I'm now obviously slightly concerned about everything and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience this?

They don't seem keen on scanning me again until 12 weeks because "they can't change the outcome" but personally I would like to know if I am at risk! I'm tempted to pay for a private scan.

I don't know about this but if you pay for a private scan it would not do any good if it is not reviewed by a doctor. Most of the private scanning places only deal with keepsakes and maybe telling gender but unless they have an MD or DO they cannot give you accurate info about the viability of the pregnancy.

Perhaps voice your concerns with your doc and ask if he or she will let you come in sooner if you pay for the appointment and scan.
