Why are people the way they are

So with my first child we were pretty broke but also a little bit picky about what we wanted for our baby. But I was COMPLETELY understanding and overwhelmingly thankful for everything we received despite things being the wrong colors or styles. We were so blessed and we still have A TON of it all and now we're having our 2nd little boy. We had so much clothes and accessories for Oliver, and he's now a year old. I didn't mind finally going through all the boxes and getting rid of Extra, Overused and Unwanted item. To our surprise, we actually had PLENTY of clothes left over! So instead of having a baby shower I just wanted to throw a diaper party (didn't happen with covid19 but that's okay. Our tax refund has eliminated all our debt so we've bought a couple extra things here and there and we're more than capable of taking care of our babies now!)

ANYWAYS!!!

So my parents throw a small baby shower with just my sister and her boyfriend. It was so cute and again I'm so thankful but here we are, drowning in clothes at home (I've bought like 20 extra packs of baby hangers from Target already cause moms been buying things my whole pregnancy 🤦)

We open all the gifts and these people oh my Lord lol we had to buy more hangers AND there's a couple ugly pieces of clothes in this new stash... AND there's more blankets and stuffys, which I hadn't mentioned yet but we have like 30 BLANKETS and a playpen OVERFLOWING with stuffed animals. Lmfao

My frustration comes from my hatred of cleaning. So I've been decluttering and eliminating extra things in our home that we don't need or use.... And now, I'm prepared to have a heart attack lol anyone else have people like this?! I love them but whyyyy
