Am I over reacting?
So I’m stuck home during this quarantine. My boyfriend is still working. His hours are all over the place. Example, he worked 4 am -9 am and then had a break before going back into work for 2:30pm. He took a nap during that break. I took it upon myself to have lunch ready for him before he went to work. I made him a tuna sandwich (just the way he likes it, light mayo and two boiled eggs), I also cut up some veggies, peeled 2 mandarins and measured out the appropriate amount of almonds. Oh, did I mention he ASKED me to help him make healthy decision because we are expecting our first child and he wants to be “healthy” by the time he’s born... Anyways... I wake him up and tell him lunch is on the table... I come back to the kitchen to see that he has thrown out the two slices of multigrain bread I used for the sandwich and instead is eating the tuna with crackers.... Now I’ll explain why I’m mad: 1) We should NOT be throwing away any food, especially during such a critical time 2) crackers should be reserved for when we DON’T have bread because they have a longer self life 3) I took time to make him a healthy balanced meal, and I feel like that effort was unappreciated. Let me not even go into the fact that he put all the snacks I cut and bagged for him back in the fridge... Am I overreacting?? Or do I have a legit reason to be upset??
Thanks in advance!
