Birthday celebration ?

My daughter turned 2 the 25th. Her party was supposed to be the 21st but I canceled it, my husband and I were thinking about two of our close friends bringing over there kids around the same age to play with her this weekend and do cupcakes but I don’t know if it’s a good idea. No one would be inside our home kids would just play in the backyard. Did anyone have a few people over to celebrate or did you cancel it all together?
