TTC after miscarriage: how soon?

I miscarried less than 3 weeks ago. It was my second miscarriage. Timeline: 
Feb 2018 chemical pregnancy 
March 2018 got pregnant with my daughter and everything went great
March 2020 miscarriage at 6 weeks
As you can see, my pregnancy immediately following my the chemical pregnancy was successful. So today I felt pain on my right side and wondered if I was ovulating already.. and it was very obvious I am! See pic below. Question to you guys, do you recommend trying so soon after a miscarriage? I worked for me the first time but I don’t understand why drs always say to wait a cycle??

My doctor told me to wait a cycle for my uterine lining to build back up to be able to support a future pregnancy.

My midwife said the only reason they tell you to wait (unless you had a d&c) is for dating purposes, because they won’t be able to date the pregnancy as easily but it doesn’t actually matter 
You can try again right after a chemical or early loss

They ask you to wait because you’re at high risk for infection while your body is still recovering from the miscarriage. Some reason for after birth. My doctor wanted to see my levels come down, have a normal cycle and give my body a chance to recover. She only asked me to wait until I had my first period after then I was good to go

I had a miscarriage at 7wks 5days! My Doctor told me I could start trying after my period comes that it was safe! But she also said she would recommend me taking time to grief since I had a miss miscarriage and went trough denial it was my first baby. My husband and I waited 2 month & then tried and now We’ve been trying for 8 months and no BFP! Good luck to you!!😘
