So, my husband has a son who’s 19 he’s home with us because his college is closed for now. It’s actually driving me crazy because he doesn’t clean up after himself at ALL. For instance, there’s a half full bottle of coke, empty water bottle and paper on our coffee table as I type this that is his. My husband tells me not to clean up after him because he’s 19, he doesn’t rinse out his dishes after he eats so I’m stuck with scrubbing and scrubbing because they’re left there just sitting. I don’t say anything because he’s not my kid and I don’t want to have bad blood between him and I then creating problems with my husband and myself. However, it’s been like this every time he stays here I try to keep our house as clean as possible. What do I do? Should I say something to him? I talk to my husband and he talks to his son, but the cleaning up after himself only lasts a couple days then the cycle continues. It’s to the point where I don’t even want to be home anymore. What do I do?
