If your child’s dad was potentially exposed to someone who may have the corona virus would you let him see the kids or have him wait 14 days and suggest he self quarantine to be safe ?? He doesn’t want to hear what I’m saying . We just had a newborn and he acts like he doesn’t care

You’re not wrong at all. These aren’t times where anyone can afford to take risks, especially if you have a newborn child. Newborns have weak immune systems. In this case better safe than sorry

If he wasnt living with us, I'd ask him to stay away. But if he has already been in and out of the house since this whole thing started and exposed everyone already, I wouldn't kick him out but would tell him to stay in from now on.

No it’s not worth risking your newborn. A baby in Illinois passed away from coronavirus a couple of days ago. He’s gonna have to suck it up and deal with this 14 days quarantine!

He would not go near my baby.. especially if the person he has been exposed to is a confirmed positive.. it's selfish acts like the way ur partner is behaving that is killing people.. I myself have covid 19.. I am 35 weeks and worried sick but I am self isolating from everyone.. I do not want to kill my loved ones.. it's worth the sacrifice for them.

At this point I’m pretty sure we’ve ALL been exposed to someone who may have the Coronavirus. If you were talking about him being exposed to a person who has been a confirmed positive that would be different. If you have been to a store or a gas station in the last month, you are as much of as a risk as he is.

I saw a post on Facebook where a nurse talks about what she will be doing and she has her own room she stays in away from everyone just to be sure to keep them safe. She keeps a distance at all times. If you live together and he won't distance himself then you must distance yourself and child from him instead. But the virus can live in the air an easy 3 hours minimum.
