3D ultrasound risk ?

Hey so I’m currently 32 weeks & I’m so torn on getting my 3D ultrasound done because I have heard it to cause risk to your baby but I also seen how nice it seems & I really do want to experience that just not if it means risking my baby to exposure & damage to her brain so please let me know what you think or your experience

It’s safe. Do it soon though because after 32 weeks they can be squished in there and the pics aren’t as good

How would it hurt their brain? It’s just sound waves I’ve had one at my anatomy scan to check facial profile and to rule out cleft lip if they weren’t safe why would they do them? It’s basically the same as the 2d ones from your doctor but it puts the images together to create the 3D one. If the 3D wasn’t safe the 2d ones wouldn’t be safe either and I’ve had multiple scans throughout my pregnancy due to it being a ivf pregnancy and having bleeding in my first trimester  and my baby is perfectly healthy and always measuring ahead.
