Allergic Reaction ??

my son is 5 months old and we’ve started solids. We tried sweet potatoes first and he did really great. we stuck w that one for about a week to make sure he didn’t have a reaction to it.

Next we tried bananas and his lips turned dark / purplish after eating??

i kept an eye on him bc i wasn’t sure if it was the food. his breathing was fine and he didn’t show any other symptoms.

We tried it again the following day and same reaction!

i’ve never heard of this kind of reaction to food.. any one else?
