Toddler leg pains

Good morning everyone! For the last few months my 2.5 year old has complained of leg pains randomly. Maybe a few times a week. I just assumed it was growing pains or him being silly but since it’s continued on this long I’m starting to get concerned. Of course now I’m thinking of worse case scenario and giving myself anxiety. He usually just cries for a moment and says his leg hurts while he holds it and then it passes and he goes on about his day. He’s woken up screaming in the night recently saying his leg hurt but he calmed down quickly and fell back asleep. He hasn’t done it since. I’m wanting to call his doctor but given the pandemic and being pregnant, I’m trying to stay in as much as possible. Obviously he is more important though. What are your thoughts? Is this normal growing pains or something I should be calling his doctor for?
