Could my dr be wrong about baby being head down?

My dr did an internal exam and said baby is head down but when I’m having these contractions I have 2 big lumps, one on each side of my belly like it’s the butt and the head. Could she be wrong or is it a different part of the baby ??

I would assume they know what they are doing... They are the doctor after all.

One is the butt and the other the feet/knees. If he’s head down doc will know by merely feeling your stomach.

I thought the same when I was in labour the first time, but she showed me the ultrasound screen and she was very much head down hahaha I could have sworn she was sideways

Just curious how does an internal exam go? I never had one. Sounds painful 😬😬😬

They should know better... my girl has the back on the right side of my belly, bottom above my belly button and somehow feet/knees/elbows/hands on the left side. And she is head down!

The doctor is right lol I thought I was feeling a butt or head on my left side and it was her elbow🤦‍♀️
