Breastfeeding with nipple piercings

So when I had my son back in 2018 I so strongly wanted to breast feed I was determined then he had a really bad tongue tie that the doctors at the hospital didn’t catch he couldn’t suck right because of it so I ended up pumping constantly but still trying to get him to suck right, at his week check up seeing his pediatrician I told her and she said it was pretty bad we didn’t cut his tongue tie that day because of some other issues we had to deal with that day. We went back the next to get it cut and ultimately it didn’t help he was to use to the bottle so I ended up pumping for about two months but it just became tooooo much with all the pumping I wasn’t get no sleep at all so I slowly transitioned him to formula. Last summer I got my nipple pierced I’ve always wanted them, we’re planning on getting pregnant again at the end of this summer and I desperately want to breast feed this time around but how is that gonna work with my piercings?? Any of you moms out there have them and breast fed? Pros cons? More pain? Did the piercings close up?
