Trying not to freak out yet.

So I am in a new relationship which is exciting and wonderful so far. I am not currently on birth control which is an issue I plan to change as soon as my doc’s office is seeing patients again. We have had unprotected sex twice recently during which he did not ejaculate but still. I just took a negative pregnancy test this morning so I’m not freaking out but there is still the chance that it was too early for an at home test to tell for sure. Also, the app I was using before this one crashed on me so I don’t know exactly when my period was/is supposed to start. Basically I’m just looking for some reassurance that I’m both not crazy and justified to freak out for a minute.😬
