Stage 3 formula?

Okay so im a first time mom, and i was woundering does anyone know the purpose of stage 3 formula? My daughter will be moving off of formula soon.. but i was qoundering if mayne i should give her stage 3 for a while begore onto milk? My doctors office is closed until further notice... and dont want to just call them about this.. anyone use stage 3? How do you go about moving your kid to whole milk?

Stage 3 formula is basically for formula companies to sell formula beyond infancy.  I would only use it if you have a picky eater or the doctor tells you to because your child has health issues (my daughter was on it for anemia).  
Just do a slow transition over like swap an Oz of formula for an oz milk and increase it over time.

Unless your kid needs the extra calories or something, I’d skip the stage 3. I think it’s just a marketing gimmick more than anything. For switching to regular milk, I slowly started mixing it into her formula. At first I did 1oz of milk, the rest formula. Then each week I’d add another ounce of milk (in place of formula) until the whole thing was milk.

With my first the doctor told me there’s no need for it unless baby isn’t eating enough. My first hated regular milk but the doctor said that was totally fine as long as he was getting calcium and fats and all that stuff from his food, which he was.

I used it for a bit because my daughter had issues with the milk but then I got told they don’t actually need to drink that amount of formula or milk anymore because they are getting everything from solids. So I stoped
