You are allowed to feel sad for yourself but happy for someone else. It's going to happen at some point with girl friends. Imagine it the other way round, you'd want to share your joy with your best friend :) this isn't meant to sound harsh, but definitely feel sad for yourself if you want, I cried for two days when I found out my best friends were expecting, but I am so soo happy for them. We are all in this together, friends, family, app friends, it's a journey xx

Just because you are trying to conceive doesn't mean other people have to halt their lives. In my opinion it's pretty selfish that you would be upset with her for becoming pregnant. You need to reign in your jealousy before it hurts someone.

I think the hurt comes from within yourself because you're not the pregnant one and she is. But otherwise, whether she was actively trying to become pregnant or not, she's your best friend you should still be happy and supportive. If the way she told you bothered you, then mention it. Like "hey, I'm super happy you're pregnant, but the way you mentioned it kinda of hurt my feelings!" Plus, I'm sure she knows it stings a little.

I'd feel happy for her eventhough I was trying to conceive. I'm sure she had no intention to hurt your feelings but it's understandable that you might be a little jealous.

Its hardly selfish, your allowed to feel the way you feel - it would have been more sensitive of her to tell you face to face and offer some supportive comments around 'dont worry, it will happen for you soon!' Or 'i cant wait for you to gt pregnant to so we can do this together' just generally make sure you know that she knows her getting pregnant when your trying and it hasnt happened yet might make you anxious - the same thing happened to me, im ttc now and my younger sister told me she was pregnant a couple weeks ago. I felt like you do now at first but she handled it far more sensitively - just talk to her, but make sure you show you are happy for her too :) and if you need to then tell her how it made you feel but you need to be sensitive too! :)
