Ultrasound showed only yolk sac

Went for my 1st appointment today & got a abdominal ultrasound. According to my LMP I should be 6weeks & 4days. Doctor only found a yolk sac with no baby yet. Also found a 8cm cyst on my right ovary. Doctor said if I am 6 weeks 4days should be able to see the baby. Or I could be earlier then I thought. Got sent for bloodwork & do bloodwork again Friday to check my levels.. has this happened to anyone else? Have you gone back & seen a baby? Holding on to happy thoughts but it’s hard.
