I could really use some advice
My son is used to me putting him to sleep by carrying him around the room on my chest, he’s six months and rarely goes to sleep any other way unless it’s in the car, the swing, or sometimes the bottle. Two nights ago we had to move his crib height down because he’s starting pulling himself up, now it’s too low for me to be able to lay him down in it like I would if he was sleeping, and he always wake up and starts crying.
I’ve started putting him to sleep in the swing and then carrying him to the crib when he wakes up for a bottle, but even when I do that he’s still asleep in the swing for 2 hours a night which can’t be good for him.
I’ve tried putting him in when he’s drowsy and he just plays for a bit and the cries. I’ve also tried comforting him while he’s in his crib and rubbing his back or talking to him but I think that aggravates him more.
If anyone could please give me any suggestions it would be SO appreciated right now.
