Surprise surprise

Once again my neighbors pit bull got out. And once again they like didn’t even care at all.

A disclaimer. I’m aware not all pit bulls are evil. However this dog has displayed violence towards my dog, leaving us $400 worth of vet bills several years ago from a bite that he got from their dog on our yard under the fence.

They built a vinyl fence that has a huge gap under it and their pit bull has gotten out countless times. Has been in other people’s yards and even ours in our backyard. On the Fourth of July a few years ago (right before he bit my dog) they left him out alone at night during the fireworks being shot off and left the house completely. The dog got out and jumped into my brothers gfs car. He would not leave the car because of how scared he was until the neighbors son (who is his original owner- I’ll explain later) came and got him out. He’s gotten our countless times since then. One time I witnessed someone drive up to their house and say “did someone lose a dog?” And it was their fuckin dog!!!

I posted about this before and how sometimes he’s out there crying and how sad he sounds and I even posted a video of it.

Idk what to do at this point because I don’t want to piss my neighbors off but I can see they clearly don’t give 2 shits about the well-being of their dog getting hit by a car or their dog attacking another dog.

There’s a ton of dogs in this neighborhood ranging in sizes. One dog is a massive one but there’s several smaller dogs and several dogs my dogs size. And by the way the vet bill was almost more it would’ve been like $2000+ had they x rayed his foot. They thought one of his toes was broken, so my mom told them to sedate him (they already had to to change his bandage) and feel his toe. The vet did and said it wasn’t broken. Saved us thousands of dollars. We asked them for half of the $400 since technically both our dogs were at fault but theirs had 0 injury. They refused. He said his wife didn’t want him spending money. Funny how months later they remodeled their house and bought a new truck.

I’ve never beefed with the neighbors because growing up I was friends with one of their sons and even made a friend from the parties they used to have. But they’ve always been rude to my mother, called cps on her years ago because I (take in mind I was a toddler lol) was refusing to get up so she was dragging me, not hurting me, just trying to get me up. they said she was abusing me. They also for years would have parties on school nights late at night, like midnight and later type of late. My moms window is like right next to their backyard. They don’t party much anymore but. Guys I have a neighbor from hell basically.
