This is so random, but the worst

Anyone ever get swollen taste buds on the tip of your tongue?? I have gotten them for years. I got one two days ago and it’s the worst pain I’ve ever had from them. They’re usually painful and annoying, but this one is keeping me awake at night. I’ve tried salt water, ice chips for swelling, brushing teeth more than normal, ibuprofen, bland foods, everything Google suggests. Any advice? I’m going insane right now at 4am because I cannot sleep. I will go crazy if this lasts another full day.
