Anyone else terrified about labour?!?!

Ftm and I’m terrified! I just want it over and done with already but still got 7 weeks left 😫
Anyone know how to calm nerves?

This will be my third birth and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling anxious.
Even though I’ve done it before the fear is still there.
The only advice that I can give you is that labour doesn’t last forever. It will pass.
At most it’s a day long experience (of active labour at least) and in the scheme of things a day isn’t really a long time compared to the lifetime of your baby that’s arriving soon.
Contractions too are a limited event. No mater how strong they are the only last for a minute or two before you get a break.
You can do anything for two minutes if you concentrate.
I find it really helpful to watch the monitor during contractions. You can see the number climb higher as the contraction intensifies and then it peaks and you watch the numbers lower again.
It was really helpful for me to see the rise and fall of those numbers and know that a break between contractions was coming soon.
Also, just what works for me but if you know you want to use pain relief options don’t shy away from doing so just because you want to experience “real” labour.
Medicated or not every labour experience is real and individual.

Look into hypnobirthing! The classes are super expensive but I’m doing an online program that’s waaaay cheaper. It has completely calmed me, and I actually can’t wait to give birth now! I feel so much more prepared.

Honestly if you just practice breathing through the pain... things will be smoother than you think.. a woman told me when I was pregnant with my first dont scream and try your best not to panic because your body will overreact and baby will feel that and it will get worse... I took her advice then I'm taking it now because it honestly helped have a smooth delivery

I was nervous so I hired a Doula have you thought of that? Super excited now after my consultation with her.

Don’t be nervous. Once it happens you will be super happy cause it brings you your baby closer! Your body was made for this, trust your body and don’t tense up. Breathe through contractions (I call them waves) the more relaxed you are the more and easier  you’ll dilate. Anxiety and tension will make labor very difficult so trust your body and your baby! You can do it!! Try to labor as long as you can at home!

Iam due May 10 and always give birth 3 weeks before my due date 
Me n dh have been non stop fighting for a week now we can’t seem to be able to get on the same page and it’s really stressing me out that ima go into labor while in a fight with him and I’ll be awkward birth :(
