Do you keep stained items?

If you plan to have future children, do you save all baby clothes, bibs, burp cloths￼, etc even if they are stained? I added photos of some of the items I found in my daughter’s boxes that were in storage.￼ There are plentyyyy more like this.

If it was really bad I didn’t save it. Or on clothes. But the burp cloths and bibs I didn’t mind

Yes. It’s a stain it doesn’t stop your kids from staying warm or covered.

I found a process on Pinterest that removed all those stains from my first’s saved clothes after sitting in storage for 2.5 years. Glad I saved them.

Yes, I'd keep. A lot of stains will bleach out in the sun, and if not we can still wear it at least around the house. Stained clothes are still totally functional so I wouldn't discard them yet.

Try sun bleaching them. We will be keeping them, I think it’s a waste to not since they will only be used a hand full of times

Use OxiClean!! I have gotten out all stains that way! Including FORMULA!! I leterally had clothes from 10 years previous (my first borns clothes) that had formula and I was able to get it out! Totally worth it. Spit rags I could care less about stains. But clothes I would never use with stains.

I usually just donate if the stains won’t come out. Why keep it when someone else could use it?

I personally don't..but you could always keep it for when you're at home, in case of an emergency or something lol. Like if it's laundry day and all other outfits are dirty but baby needs to wear something.

No for a new baby I would only keep items that looked brand new. For my current baby I throw away any clothing that I can’t get a stain out, bibs I still use with stains that can’t get out

No I stop using stained clothes. Just doesn’t feel right.
