Stepparent !

So .. when I was 16 I got pregnant and was alone my whole pregnancy, and I was alone racing my son! I’ve had failed relationships.. and found a good one, that I said he’s the one ! So after years of dating I got married 6 months ago ! My son was happy at first but started to be a whole different kid . Her started to be so disrespectful, and just started being so manipulative and honestly it was tough to sit and relax for 5 min of my day without hearing my son yell at me or act out ! So my husband started to be very impatient with the behavior, so he stoped having patience with him. Every time my son would do something he reacted out of anger and would talk to him in the worst tone. So we started taking parenting therapy to help my son . And to help my husband because he never grew up with a dad. And he’s never been one before. But our therapist tells us that my husband should also discipline my son too! Meaning setting down rules and going by them ! But some of my family don’t agree because he isn’t his blood father !

So do any of you lady’s have a step parent at home ? And do you allow them to help you discipline ?
