Did sex help labor happen faster?

I am 37w4d and went to the doc yesterday and was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I know that doesn’t mean much- I was 0cm and 30%effaced when I got checked with my son at 38 weeks and went into labor the next day so 🤷‍♀️

I told my doc we don’t want the baby to come before Easter (we don’t have childcare for my son in this pandemic)! Anyway, she said well then don’t have any sex before Easter! And I wasn’t thinking of that at all. Is it ok for my hubby and I do to have sex without worrying it will cause labor?
