Iron Deficient
So I’m severely iron deficient but I couldn’t get my medication because Medicaid doesn’t cover it and I couldn’t pay for it out of pocket. I have since switched pharmacies and now waiting on them to refill my prescription. Only problem is I’m SO WEAK, dizzy, and can’t stay awake for the life of me and I can’t wait any longer. My question is, would it be safe to take otc iron supplements until my prescription is ready?
