Clear blue opk

So I am using clear blue digital OPKs. I am using them as part of the SMEP plan. This is my first time ever getting a positive OPK. I had a negative yesterday, day 8. Then today cd9 i got a steady smiley face (meaning peak). Is this too early? Did I maybe test wrong? I am also using fertile boost supplement, pre-seed, vitex, and chelated zinc. We have been ttc for almost 2 years. I will be 40 in May. Any suggestions? Input? Anything?
