question abt ovulation/sex

okay so i know you technically ovulate one day but you are giving a fertile window of abt a week on average where u can get pregnant and it’ll show up on your period apps and all that. i’m just wondering is it normal to have some egg-white consistency, clear discharge for a few days leading up to my actual day of ovulation? or does that mean i’m already ovulating now? is there a difference?
