Fiancee won’t have sex with me

Sandra

For two years now I’ve been so sick with hormonal birth control. I’ve tried the vaginal ring, several different types of birth control pills and the arm implant and all of those hormonal methods have interfered with my thyroid. Since I started the recent and last dose of the low dose birth control pill my doctor had to raise my dosage because she said she didn’t think to raise my thyroid meds because they BC interferes with the thyroid hormone absorption.

Anywho, all the constant headaches, anxiety, increased heart rate, dizziness, and other symptoms were just deteriorating emotionally and mentally and those plus being dry down there, non existent sex drive amogts other symptoms I had. With all that said I finally set my foot down, and became stern in my decision to stop taking the birth control and told my fiancée I was stopping. Now since we embarked on this sexual journey of our relationship he insisted I get on birth control because he said his penis would become flaccid when using a condom, and I knew that was correct because we would have that problem constantly.

So, I compromised with him and got on birth control because we know the pullout method is an unreliable method of birth control alone and he doesn’t trust himself to do pullout. Anywho, we have both agreed that we don’t want children until I have a permanent full time job. He has a permanent full time job and I have a temporary job that I started in January but that has come to a close because of Covid-19 situation.

He respects that I choose to not take anymore birth control but I am litterally a day or two from starting my period and he has not wanted to have sex with me and told me yesterday that he doesn’t want to have sex with me.

He was in a 10 year relationship and had his ex on birth control and now he’s done the same thing with me. He has a friend who he’s best friends with and his wife just got her tubes tied. I truly believe he wants to have sex but he wants worry free sex and I want that too but I also hate feeling the way I do with hormonal birth control and my health above all is very important to me as this Covid crisis envelops I think to myself I don’t want another chemical in my body during this time. I am already feeling nervous and anxious about staying indoors 24/6 and afraid of coming down with Covid-19 and the Way the birth control pills made me feel made things even worse.

I’d like someone’s opinion on this.
