Calling all hair dressers!

Hey ladies!

I would love some feedback. I currently have long black hair. It’s been dyed black for 10+ year due to gray hairs. I never box color, only professional color.

I want to know the process on how to go deep red. I understand this will take months and several visits to the hair dresser. But how many visits? How many times do I need to get it stripped? And how damaging will this be? My hair is very healthy and very long. I don’t want to ruin my hair... but after having the same color for over 10 years I am ready for a change.
